The secret surprise is out, these beauties are going to be big sisters!! Oh these kiddos. I’ve had the privilege of photographing them for a few years now and let me tell you this is the most excited I have seen them. Between throwing out suggestion after suggestion of what to name their baby sister to telling me the first thing their going to do with her (“read books to her”, “hug her a lot”) this little babe is already so loved. I cannot wait to meet her!
And then when the sun had almost set behind the hills the girls spotted a familiar white truck. And since they were on their best behavior, guess what was waiting for us as we exited the park?! (I’ll give you a hint, I got a strawberry shortcake!)
Brand new baby D is here! There is absolutely nothing in the world like seeing a newborn within the first 48 hours of their life. So sweet, so peaceful, so perfectly brand new. They sleep through most bumps and movements of furniture (but its still up 50/50 chance of when big brother yells “My turn!”). I can’t wait to watch this little one grow up.
This little goober has some news to share…
He is going to be a big brother!! Coming July 2016 🙂
My style is focused on candid, natural images of children and families. For that reason I do not typically do event-style photography, however when one of your oldest and dearest clients has a First Holy Communion party for her baby girl, I get *super* excited. Seeing this little beauty all dressed up, I can’t believe how much she has grown! Congratulations beautiful!
What a ball of sunshine this little guy was, with the most charming personality. He was so thoughtful, curious and 100% daddy’s little boy. The two of them drove trucks, picked berries, and climbed and climbed and climbed. Their beautiful property was a photographer’s dream, I was inspired with every turn. But I think my favorite part was while C slept, A had a snack, and I got to photograph mom and dad together. I love hearing where families stories begin, and I cannot see where they continue to grow. Thank you B family for letting me into your beautiful home!
Oh these kids… I could have stayed with them all afternoon. They were such naturals in front of the camera and so relaxed. We even played some Minecraft (That’s right.. I totally know all about Minecraft!) And they let me play with MY new toy! The 85mm 1.4 lens and ohhhh am I in love. The creamy, crisp portrait shots it gave me… swoooon!
Leave it to the boys to find the one piece of sharp splintered, potentially dangerous… yet artistically perfect piece of driftwood in the vicinity of our session. And their beautiful mama let them play as they usually do, being sure to share with me this is the perfect demonstration of her little explorers.
Check out those eyes. Her emerging curiosity, wonder and determination were just a few of the highlights of this little one’s personality. Her mama wanted to be sure to capture her little girl before her little brother came along. We made sure to highlight her little nursery which pretty soon wouldn’t be hers anymore! HERE is another favorite from the outside part of our session.
