It is the absolute best to see your friends become parents, and this is exactly what happened with my sweet friend. Usually this time of year is so crazy that by the time families have their trees up and homes decorated for the Holidays we’ve already delivered all the albums, frames, canvases and other goodies from my little workshop 🙂 So it was the best getting to use the Christmas colors and colorful tree as a backdrop. I had a blast exploring their gorgeous home and beautiful, brand new family. Merry First Christmas Baby C!!

And once the sun begins to set behind the clouds and we’ve finished the full family shoot, it is always very important to me to get photos of just mom and dad, and never forget where their whole family started.

Can you believe summer is over already? Neither can I. I wish we could lay on the warm grass, watching the clouds roll by for a little longer. But along with the cooler weather comes my favorite time of the year, so I guess it is okay. Until next summer…
